Every year, the An Post Irish Book Awards bring together a vast and passionate community of authors, booksellers, publishers, librarians and readers to recognise the very best of Irish writing talent. This year was no exception, with 19 categories showcasing the best Irish fiction, non-fiction, children’s and young adult books, and poetry – plus a public vote that saw thousands of booklovers across Ireland voting for their books of the year.
The winners of this year's awards were announced at a ceremony in Dublin on 27th November, with authors including Donal Ryan, Jane Casey, Eilish Fisher, Molly Nic Céile and Graham Norton taking home awards.
