Bookshop Description

The shop has a wide range of books and many other items, including National Book Tokens gift cards. We are renowned in the area for the traditional feel and service in our shop, combined with a modern, lively stock. We are especially proud of our children's section and have an extensive, popular second-hand range upstairs.

The shop has been established for over 50 years and is staffed by a group of friends with a passion for books. We are at the heart of the local community; hosting a wide variety of events, e.g visits of Julia Donaldson, John Crace, Henry Blofeld, The Bookshop Band.
