Quiz Night in Aid of Diam Rek

Gather your most literary whizzy friends for the Bookshop Quiz Night, fundraising to change the lives of wheelchair users in Senegal, organised by Bookshop staff member Finn. Diam (Jam) Rek means Peace Always in the Senegalese linga franca, Wolof, and the aim is to provide wheelchairs and develop skill-sharing workshops, with the ultimate objective of Diam Rek becoming fully self-sufficient, providing opportunities to work, learn new skills and develop confidence, independence and resilience.
