Bookshop Description
Regional Winner, Independent Bookshop of the Year
British Book Awards 2018
We are Nottingham's only independent bookshop.
Five Leaves Bookshop stock is orientated towards independent presses, but we have a good representation of major publishing houses too. We like the reprint house Persephone, political publishers including Verso and Freedom, poetry publishers such as Carcanet and Bloodaxe, translation houses such as Pushkin Press, the landscape publisher Little Toller…
We have a large poetry section. Other sections in the shop include landscape/cityscape, music, general and translated fiction, Black Lives, politics, LGBT, feminism, social history, Jewish interest. Our children’s section is particularly strong on diversity.
Five Leaves is a member of the Alliance of Radical Booksellers and The Booksellers Association
Our webshop is www.fiveleavesbookshop.co.uk/shop/shop
We normally run about 100 events a year, and still do but currently online only
