Bookshop Description

We are the oldest children's bookshop in the country - 50 years old as of 2024. We were awarded the double accolade of Book Retailer of the Year and Children's Bookseller of the Year in 2024 - we're only the second independent to have ever won the former! Our team of specialist booksellers have a deep knowledge - many of us have served the community for generations - and between us we try to read every book we stock. We're a tiny bookshop with TARDIS like qualities, and have a vast array of non-fiction, novelty, picture books, toys, audiobooks, Tonies, and the best of all things in the children's world. We work with schools and organisations all over London - get in touch if we can help you! We have a huge events program in the bookshop - we've recenlty welcomed visits from authors like Julia Donaldson, Michael Rosen, Cressida Cowell, Robin Stevens, and Oliver Jeffers.
