September 2024: Chorleywood Bookshop

Congratulations to this month's winner!

We’re thrilled to announce our Bookshop of the Month for September: Chorleywood Bookshop!

Co-owned by Sheryl Shurville and Martin McKean, The Chorleywood Bookshop has been a prominent feature of Chorleywood, Herts for more than 50 years, acting as a cultural hub for the community – a destination that individuals and families enjoy visiting for pleasure and inspiration.

In addition to books, they also offer an extensive, exciting programme of author events (typically more than 90 each year!), plus a thriving schools’ programme, spanning everything from large-scale author events to book fairs!

Congratulations to the fabulous team!

"Given the fantastic array of author events we host throughout the year, the National Book Tokens Local platform offers us a very valuable way to reach book lovers who might not be aware of our events programme, helping us to bring authors and readers together in engaging ways.

We are so grateful for the support National Book Tokens Local provides in enabling us to communicate these events more widely within the community!"
